Greater Montreal Maxillo-Facial 3D

Planmeca ProMax 3D for dental scans

The Greater Montreal Maxillo-Facial 3D division of the Centre Dentaire de Haute Technologie du Québec opened in 2006. This division takes 3D x-rays of jaws for general dentists, orthodontists and specialists in Quebec requiring such diagnostics.

Planmeca ProMax 3D

The Greater Montreal Maxillo-Facial 3D uses a Planmeca ProMax 3D which captures 2D, 3D and CBCT digital images for implantology, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, dental and maxillofacial surgery, and TMJ analysis. This device provides high quality images while following the ALARA principle for minimal x-ray exposure (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).

Following the acquisition of the SimPlant software, our division has become the first in Eastern Canada to use Simplant Master for processing data from scans.
