Centre Dentaire de Haute Technologie du Québec

Dentists and collaborators

Our clinic is staffed by several dentists and other collaborators who work together to provide you with excellent service:

Dr. Joëlle Marcil, Dentist

Dr. Marcil

Having completed studies at Université de Montréal in 1983, Dr. Marcil began her professional career with a one-year, multi-disciplinary residency at Hôpital Notre-Dame. She then travelled to Quebec’s far north for three years of service, providing dental care – in oftentimes difficult circumstances – to Indigenous populations. In 1989, she became clinic coordinator for the Department of Surgery at Université de Montréal, where she helped future dentists develop surgical skills and build their confidence.

Always engaged in ongoing education, Dr. Joëlle Marcil completed implant training at Institut canadien d’implantologie in 2003. She has also travelled to many countries – including Germany, Austria, the United States and the Dominican Republic – to perfect her skills with leading world dentistry experts like Drs. Misch, Kois, Allen, Salama, Steigmann, Landry and Slavicek. In 2009, she also completed a Master’s Degree in Dental Science at University of Krems in Austria and is currently a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In addition to her surgical practice (implants, wisdom teeth, grafts, biopsies, etc.), Dr. Marcil treats TMJ, helping to rehabilitate dentition proactively, sustainably and comfortably.

For more than ten years, Dr. Joëlle Marcil has been actively involved in the dental community as an administrator and as the president (for one year) of Société dentaire de Montréal and Fédération des sociétés dentaires du grand Montréal. She has also acted as Administrator, Montreal region, for Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec.

Dr. Roxane Katiya, Dentist

Dr. Katiya

Dr. Katiya completed her Doctorate in Dental Medecine at Université de Montréal in 2006. Greatly interested in implants for prosthetic rehabilitation, she pursued additional training in surgery, implantology and restorative dentistry during a multi-disciplinary residence at the prestigious Eastman Institute of Oral Health and at Strong Memorial Hospital, part of the University of Rochester in New York State. She has also studied at the Misch Implant Institute in Detroit, and obtained her fellowship with International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in 2008. Furthermore, Dr. Katiya has completed her advanced accreditations for the CEREC CAD-CAM and CEREC (implant) technologies.

In February 2011, Dr. Roxane Katiya presented a talk addressing complete rehabilitation at the ICOS’s annual symposium in Las Vegas. She holds a license to practice in the United States (California) and is a member of numerous recognized organizations, including International Congress of Oral Implantologists, International Team for Implant Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Katiya is involved in many study groups and actively seeks other opportunities to learn new applications for innovative technology in the dental health field.

In addition to English and French, Dre Katiya is fluent in Spanish and understands Italian.

Dr Stéphane Reinhardt, Dentist, Orthodontics

Dr. Reinhardt

Dr. Stéphane Reinhardt graduated from the Department of Dental Medecine at Université de Montréal in 1992. He quickly became interested in the aesthetic flaws of a smile and how to correct them. After three years of studying orthodontics and dento-facial orthepedics at International Dental Institute (IDI) and advanced training in neuromuscular orthodontics and occlusion at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI), Dr. Reinhardt launched his career in orthodontics.

Dr. Reinhardt began exploring the possibilities with Invisalign in 2004 and was one of the first dentists in Quebec to offer this service. As such, he quickly learned just how beneficial this system can be for his patients. In 2008, Dr. Reinhardt earned the title of “Premier Provider Elite” from Align, the company that invented and manufactures Invisalign. This title is only bestowed on 1% of dentists who are accredited to treat patients with Invisalign in North America. Only two dentists in Quebec have received this honour.
